Myrrh Resin myrrh (Commiphora Myrrha) - High Grade from Peru 5g

The aroma of Peruvian myrrh resin on charcoal is extremely complex! After a fleeting Myrrhic bitterness, the aroma of this resin transforms into the vanilla sweetness of Siam benzoin with a hint of styrax from liquidambar styractiflua. This is followed by cinnamon and allspice with citrus, caramel and amber, all wrapped in a distant air reminiscent of the fragrant markets of Madagascar.
Little is known about this resin and its medicinal and cultural uses, except that they are collected from the sustainable Piura region of Peru.

Application

Burn it as incense over charcoal, in a wood stove, or in a pot of boiling water.
You can also use myrrh resin to infuse your own carrier oils.
Myrrh is often combined with frankincense or herbs.

Over charcoal, it opens with an almost unpleasant, bitter smell that gives you goosebumps.
Then, immediately after this unusual introduction, something changes and a pleasant smell is felt.
